Rib Hole for Wire Conduit

Small hole in wing rib for wire conduit

I built this nice little jig to set the hole in the rib, the hole would be in the same place in every rib.

The hole is 7/8 of an inch in diameter and spaced in the largest flat section of the wing rib.

I drilled a half a dozen holes when I thought what am I doing? Drilling holes in my plane!

As I am not a structural engineer, and I am wondering if I could be compromising the strength of the rib?

I think that it should be OK but am going to ask for feedback on any structural integrity issues.

Would this hole be OK in your plane?

Would this hole be OK in my plane?

So I also asked Van's

Gus at Vans said the location is fine, back to building!
